The College of Computing and Applied Software Engineering (CCASE) was established with the goal of fulfilling the need of the ever-growing sector of IT.

The IT industry is growing exponentially all over the world including India. According to the revised Nasscom-McKinsey Study 2002, by 2008 the industry would employ 4 million people, account for 7 percent of India's Gross Domestic Product and 30 percent of India's foreign exchange inflows. Recruitments in the software services segment are up three to four times.
